La canzone si chiama Che fantastica storia è la vita (pubblicata nell'album dallo stesso nome nel 2003). Il documento che ho preparato contiene il testo e alcuni esempi di attività che possono essere usate da insegnanti di italiano o da studenti. Il linguaggio della canzone è abbastanza semplice ma molto descrittivo e racconta la storia di quattro persone. Un'ottima risorsa da usare in classe, con ragazzi della scuola o con adulti.

The song is Che fantastica storia è la vita (from the album by the same name published in 2003). The document I prepared contains the lyrics and some examples of activities which could be used by teachers or by students of Italian. The song language is quite simple but very descriptive and it tells the story of four people. An excellent resource for school students and adult learners alike.

In Italia, l'Italia e l'italiano per stranieri è un progetto multimediale di Rai Educational in 60 puntate ambientate in 40 città italiane. Ogni puntata dura 30m e contiene principalmente una docufiction, seguita da una sezione di "riflessione" sul vocabolario e una cartolina dall'Italia. Tutte le puntate sono trasmesse da Raitalia e sono disponibili online corredate di tutti i testi e numerose attività didattiche.

In Italia, l'Italia e l'italiano per stranieri is a multimedia Rai Educational project in 60 episodes filmed in 40 Italian cities. Each 30m episode contains mainly a docufiction followed by a "stop and see" section on relevant vocabulary and a postcard from Italy. Attività consigliate (Suggested Activities):

Per avanzati: Racconta qualche episodio in cui ti ti sei comportato più da italiano o più da europeo...scegli da una o più di una delle categorie dell'animazione.

Per intermedi: fai un elenco di tutte le categorie (highway, parking, traffic lights, ecc) e poi, per ogni categoria, spiega perché tu ti consideri più europeo, più italiano o un po' tutte e due.

Per principianti - for beginners: Imagine you have to explain why Italians have such a bad reputation. Take notes on each category and then write in Italian a short composition on the following: gli italiani sono maleducati perché guidano male, non si fermano al semaforo rosso...ecc.

A simple but useful resource for intermediate learners of Italian

When you say something about the past in Italian, you are most likely to use the present perfect (il passato prossimo). Unfortunately, many verbs have an irregular past participle. This list might help dissipate all your doubts. Verbs are listed in the present perfect form, with the auxiliary "essere" or "avere" as required and their irregular past participle.

esempio: accendere (to turn on) - ho acceso (I have turned on/I turned on)
